Ah, the Lesser Species did good! The Male Lesser Species and the one they call my "Grandpa" (he's just an OLD Lesser Species!) came home last week with a very tall item! The Female Lesser Species pulled all the stuff in the old cabinet and filled the kitchen table. Then the 2 Male Lesser Species brought in the tall thing and the Female Lesser Species 'Oohed' and 'Ahhed' over it and then opened it up and put the breakables in there.
After some calculations, as I sat on the kitchen counter, I figured the energy needed to jump to the TOP of this tall thing!
How nice to look down at everyone again! And how nice to be out of the reach of the Slobbery Hound Things!
Here I am, looking down on the Lesser Species!















Of course, if I do the math and figure out how to get up here... Dizzy just can't wait to copy me! She watches my angle and acceleration and then gets up there herself! I may be a month younger, but I know more than she does. Oh well, the Female Lesser Species also took photos of her up on the tall item too!
I think I look much more regal.

Sally's Thoughts

Well, I don't get it. Dizzy whines for a minute about losing the Boy Lesser Species, and all of a sudden she's getting to go into the big sleeping room, she gets carried around, she gets petted.
What about ME? No one is comforting ME! I even braved walking around the Slobbery Hound Things and telling the Lesser Species that I required some attention (ok, do NOT pick me up - I HATE that!) - but did I get petted and scratched? NO!
Ten minutes later that Dizzy was up on the Male Lesser Species lap and getting a good petting - with BOTH the Slobbery Hound Things right by her! And she hates them more than me!
I need to shed heavily somewhere...

You would think the Male Lesser Species would know not to pick me up and let that Golden Slobbery Hound Thing jump up... he deserved them scratches I left behind on him with my back claws!!!!
I thought for sure that Golden Slobbery Hound Thing was going to get me! I HAD to jump down! Geesh!
I'm still waiting for the Boy Lesser Species to come home, but the Female Lesser Species explained to me that he started his college classes (whatever those are) today, and it might be a few WEEKS before he comes home to love on me!
I need to go hack up a hairball someplace!

Oh man! I can't believe it! He left me! I'm stuck here at this house with the two Slobbery Hound Things and the Female and Male Lesser Species!
The Boy Lesser Species, the one who understood me, and loved me, has left this house! The Female Lesser Species was talking with the Male Lesser Species tonight, and they said the Boy had moved into an apartment and will be going to something called college. I'm not sure what that is, but I do know my Boy Lesser Species won't be coming to pet me for a while. I don't know why he didn't take me with him! I miss the Boy Lesser Species! I need attention, I need love, I need kisses!
I'm so bummed, I had to jump up on the table and shed a bunch of black hairs! I definitely won't get the attention I deserve now.

Ok, I am beginning to put up with that new Pup... he doesn't seem to want to chase me - just Dizzy! Ha! Ha!
The weather got cooler for a few days and I got to get up HIGH again! I love sitting up on the open door and looking down at everyone! Too bad the Lesser Species doesn't get it - the door should be open all the time so that I may gaze down on everyone!
Dizzy will get up on the big Food Box, but the door is even higher than that! I think she's AFRAID!
Ha! Last night there were big BOOMS, and she ran away! I showed her - I stayed out and listened to them!

I still can't believe the Lesser Species brought in that golden slobbery hound thing!
He keeps chasing me all over the house, and the only place I can feel safe is on top of the cold Yummy storage box!
I jumped up there last night and when the Female Lesser Species came by to get something out of the cold Yummy storage box, I forgot I was sitting on the door part - and when she opened, it I FELL DOWN!!!! RIGHT ON TOP OF THE GOLDEN SLOBBERY HOUND THING!!!
I freaked out, the golden slobbery hound thing thought I was playing and started to chase me down the hall - and the Female Lesser Species tripped over both of us and almost fell!
If I wasn't trying to get away from the golden slobbery hound thing - I would have watched and laughed to myself!

Sally's Thoughts

Well, I was really excited this past weekend. The Lesser Species took BOTH of the Slobbery Hound Things away! Along with a bunch of their toys and their Yummys. Dizzy and I weren't sure, but when it got dark out, and there was still no Slobbery Hound Things... we realized they were gone! Gone, gone, gone!!!!
So were the Lesser Species, but they don't bother us as much as the Slobbery Hound Things!
It was Heaven! I could sleep on back of the Soft Mini-couch Thing, where I used to sleep all the time - until the Lesser Species brought in the baby Golden Slobbery Hound Thing - then I couldn't sleep there, cause he'd jump up and try and bite me!
Where oh where are my precious sharp toes? That baby Golden Slobbery Hound Thing needs to be put in his place!
But, just as we were both getting happy about having the house to ourselves... The Lesser Species came back! But, that was ok, it was just the three of them. So, Dizzy sat behind the Female Lesser Species, and I actually got to do my Happy Feet on the soft spot of the Male Lesser Species!
We were so happy! Things were the way we believed they should have always been!
Then, 3 hours later - the Lesser Species went away. And CAME BACK WITH BOTH OF THOSE SLOBBERY HOUND THINGS!
I'm so upset I think I need to shed all over the furniture!
