Yippy Skippy the Big Slobbery Hound Thing is 1 Year old

Well, it took the Female Lesser Species long enough to let us get back on the computer.

This past Friday was the Big Golden Slobbery Hound Thing's birthday. Like anyone cared. He's such a pain in my rump. Literally. Everytime I finally get one of the Lesser Species to let me relax on their soft, warm shoulders, that Big Golden Slobbery Hound Thing sticks his cold wet nose up my rumpus and pushes me forward. What a pain. I keep telling him to leave me alone, and I even give him the royal hiss, but he just doesn't get it. What an imbecile.

And then the Lesser Species go and celebrate this Big Golden Slobbery Hound Thing's first birthday. He and the Other Slobbery Hound Thing got cake and ice cream. What did Sally and I get? Nothing, nada. Not even a bit of cake, not a lick of ice cream.

So what if I've been a bit under the weather, and have had to hack up some hairballs on their new carpet? I DESERVE cake and ice cream. I allow them to pet me and grace them with my presence, and I don't get one little taste.

Little do they know I've hacked up hairballs all over the family room in the basement! Take that you Lesser Species!

The Female Lesser Species

I have found out that the Female Lesser Species has a much more padded shoulder to curl up on. She says she going to some Watching Place to watch her softness go away, but for now I'm enjoying the cushyness.
BUT, she sits and pushes me down all the time. I tell her off, but she just tells me I make a better door than a window. Like a CAT could ever be a door. Or a window. What's up with this? No wonder they are a Lesser Species!

And I'm slowly getting over the Boy leaving. The Female Lesser Species does let me get into the Boy's sleeping area, and so I get some sniffing time. I still miss him... but at least I wasn't subject to a long trip in the pukey machine. I hate the pukey machine.

What a Christmas

Well, Dizzy said I could type this one, as she's still so upset, she can hardly do her bathing.

The Boy Lesser Species has left her. Just up and left. He told the Male and Female Lesser Species one night right after Christmas, and he left the next morning. He was moving to Georgia with his birth grandparents that he hasn't seen in at least 9 years. He didn't take Dizzy either (of course, with her tendency of getting sick in the Moving Box, that was probably good for her, but she won't listen to me at this point).

The Female Lesser Species did get a picture of her and the Boy Lesser Species right before he left - can you tell she wasn't happy with him leaving?

Of course, as I hate to be held (see next photo), I didn't really care if the Boy Lesser Species went or not... but I was kinda glad he didn't leave with Dizzy - who else would the Slobbery Hound Things chase if she was gone? ME! Yes, ME! Whew!

The Female and Male Lesser Species are doing something really strange. Every couple of days, our house is changed. First the colors on the walls change. Then stuff gets moved all over (I was really upset when they moved the High Spot on me - it's much harder to get up there now). And today - some Lesser Species came in and put this stinky stuff on the ground (it's soft, and the Female Lesser Species says the smell will go away after they bring out the Noisy Sucking Machine a few times), and then they bring in new Sitting Cushions. Three of them. I'm still deciding if they are cushy enough for my beautiful fur to shed on!

Here's a picture of Dizzy (before the Boy Lesser Species left her - when she was still happy) - helping with the color changing. She said she was willing to help - but I think she just liked being up Semi-High! Also, I found a nice photo the Female Lesser Species took of me, and since I don't want Dizzy to have more photos on here than me, I decided to grace you with my beautiful fur! I hate the Flashy Box, so the Female Lesser Species was lucky to get this one of me!

Mewy Christmas everyone!

Sally and I wanted to extend our happiest, purriest Mewy Christmas to all of you!
I am now over my cold, it wasn't nice, but I let the Female Lesser Species hold me and pamper me a bit - that was ok!
Sally is now playing with me again. She is such a KittyDiva. Like a cold would kill her. I survived.
Santa Paws brought us a wonderful sock filled with the Feel Good Grass. Sally and I took turns rolling in it. I love Feel Good Grass.
The Female Lesser Species said our sock will help homeless kitties around here. I don't know how, but anything to help those poor babies. (She also said it will help homeless Slobbery Hounds Things, and in the spirit of Mewy Christmas, I guess that's ok.) I guess we all need to be thankful that we have a warm place to sleep and Lesser Species to cater to our every whim.
Have a very Mewy Christmas and I hope Santa Paws brought you everything on your list! (If not, go ahead and hack up a hair ball on the Lesser Species clothing - it doesn't matter if you are naughty or nice at this point!!!!)

Sally's Thoughts

Well, I FINALLY get a chance to get my paws on the computer. The Female Lesser Species has been hogging it forever - she says she's working on photos of Seniors... I think she's just trying to show some dominance (yah, like a Lesser Species will ever dominate those of the Catdom).

This has been quite a month. Another Female Lesser Species, who says she is the sister of the Male Lesser Species of the house, has been coming over here and putting color on the walls, and it smells. And they moved stuff. And they put in a slippery floor in the food room. And they all seem happy about all of the chaos they are causing. I am just now getting back to coming upstairs and allowing them to stroke my beautiful grey fur.

Dizzy didn't grab the computer this time. She went to the Demon's Place - where they stick things up your hiney, and poke you with sharp things - I know she was there - she smelled like it all yesterday.

Dizzy came home and told me that she had a cold. A Cold? I thought that was something only the Lesser Species got. And I have to avoid her for a few days. Or I might get a Cold.

Life is just too bothersome right now!

Dizzy's Diatribe

FINALLY!!!! The Female Lesser Species is finally getting done with most of her so-called 2nd job - something that has to do with the flashy box thing. The only thing I like about it, is that a lot of people come to visit and I get lots of scritches! I also get to play behind the big fabric thing that hangs from the ceiling! And some people even bring bags for me to explore in!
The Female Lesser Species has been getting better from being so sick, and she had to get on the computer a lot lately, so she could work on the pictures she takes downstairs. And so she hasn't let us on the computer at all lately.
Life is crazy here. About 2 weeks ago, the Male Lesser Species had his female litter mate come over - and the next thing we know, stuff is being moved, smelly colored stuff is being put on the walls, the floor in the eating room is not there anymore! The Female Lesser Species keeps grabbing the flashy box and flashing all over the eating room and the main room, and keeps oohhhing and ahhhing over this "remodeling" as she calls it.
All Sally and I know is that our High Spot on the china holder is no longer accessible, the Lesser Species has moved it to the other wall, and now Sally and I don't have the counter to launch off of! We have voiced our displeasure, but they just don't understand!!!
I have even hacked up a hairball in their sleeping room, but they still don't get it! Oh how I wish I still had claws to really show how much I want my High Spot back!

Sally's Thoughts 9-30-07

I finally get a chance at the computer. The Female Lesser Species has been "sick" all of September, and she is just now letting me get my paws back on our blog.
She SAYS she had bronk-eye-tis at the beginning of the month, and complained all the time about starting a new "job" with this thing - and THEN she finds out from some ex-ray thing that she had new-moan-yah and had to take this tiny little pill for a while. THEN she says she's getting a rash and finds out that was a yeast infection on her skin.
So, now the house smells like some stinky powder she smears on herself all the time - some Gold thing.
I was getting sick of the smell, so when she opened the door to the back yard this morning, I decided to take a little stroll outside.
I forgot I hate the outside. There are so many dangerous things - like trees I can't climb because I don't have sharpies on my front feet. And a group of long eared beings that live over by the fence.
Thank goodness the Male Lesser Species decided to go in the house not too long after I tried my escape... when he opened that back door, I was able to run back inside where food is plentiful and the litter box is ready, and where I can go up high on the china cabinet! I don't think I'm gonna try that again for a while!
